2023 PS Eligible Veterans [Updated 8/29/23]

[Updated 8/29/23] The following BSL Veterans are eligible to be placed on the Practice Squad this season. They were in the PS to end the 2022 season and were given the PS Exemption label in the 2023 FA period and maintain the eligibility requirements for the PS going into the 2023 season. If a BSL veteran (any player in our database prior this year’s draft) is NOT listed, then they are NOT eligible. NFL veterans who have never been in our league and meet the initial requirements are eligible along with any NFL rookie drafted this season. Here is the list:

  • RB – Kenneth Gainwell (PHI) - Entering 3rd NFL season, will lose eligibility at end of 2022 season regardless of number of starts, 1 Career Start

To Maintain PS Eligibility:

  • A player MUST be in his 1st 3 NFL seasons
  • A player CANNOT have started in a BSL game
  • A player CANNOT have started in 4 consecutive NFL games or 8 total NFL games in his career (this includes full NFL regular season schedule and consecutive games carry over to subsequent seasons for eligibility purposes).
